The General Election by Tim Lumley Smith
The General Election is coming up in a weeks time on the 7th may.
You have to be registered to vote and you have to be over 18.
Our votes decide who will run the country.
The parties who want you votes are Conservatives, Labour, Liberal democrats, Green party,UKIP, SNP and plaid Cymru.
We should know the results by early on Friday morning.
